Ulrikke Asbøll is an Attorney-at-Law with more than ten years’ experience offering legal and strategic Intellectual Property Rights advice, both in Norway and internationally. For four years she has worked as a Legal Advisor at NIPO (Norwegian Patent Office).
Her practice covers the whole IP lifecycle, from early concept through to enforcement of registered intellectual property rights. Her strength is in understanding a client’s business then pinpointing their specific needs from a practical and cost-efficient point of view.
As well as advisory work, she assists clients in drafting contracts, negotiations, disputes and litigation in connection with patent, trademark and design infringements.
Key Experience
Litigation and negotiation: representing private individuals against insurance companies in court and in negotiations. Advice regarding trade secrets, unfair competition, counterfeiting and adjacent legal areas. Ulrikke also has extensive litigation experience from torts/damages.
Ulrikke represents Norwegian and international companies from a wide spectrum of industries, including: oil and gas; maritime; and consumer products/services.
At NIPO she represented Norway at the World Intellectual Property Organization and European Patent Office. This gives her political and legal knowledge about how both organizations operate.
