Swetha is a patent attorney with extensive experience in IP fields, both as an internal IP consultant and patent engineer who coordinates IP activities for small and large companies. Swetha holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from India. She has worked with clients such as Tata Consultancy Services, Samsung India Software Operations and Alcatel Lucent India to name a few. Swetha’s areas of interest are electronics and communication systems, ultrasonic sensors and renewable energy.
Swetha has experience as an in-house IP person and patent engineer with TE Connectivity Norway, where she has worked with inventors to guide them in identifying potential IP. Conducting freedom to operate analysis, competitor analysis and watching, novelty and prior art searches. She has also worked with teams to conduct idea generation sessions to explore new areas of product development within the company. Swetha has worked as a patent analyst and senior patent analyst with IP firm in India, where her responsibilities included preparation of patent specifications for clients in India and the United States, prosecution of applications, and surveillance of competitors.
She has worked with clients from various industries including telecommunications systems, electronics and sensors, environmental technology and ultrasonic sensors for the automotive industry.
