Education
1995-1998 Høyskolen i Buskerud (HiBu) – studied as an electrical engineer with specialization in Technical Cybernetics.
1998-2000 University of Lower Telemark – studied MSc (MSc) in process automation with specialization in Chemistry (use of mathematical and statistical methods, so-called multivariable data analysis, for analysis of measurement results) and multivariate image analysis.

Svein has worked with patents for 17 years (since 2001), both as a case manager in the Patent Office (6.5 years, ended up as Senior Engineer) and as Patent Advisor in Oslo Patentkontor AS (10.5 years). He has an education that covers a wide range in electrical and process automation / technical cybernetics.
He has previously worked in the Norwegian Patent Office as a case manager with an emphasis on communication, as well as having worked as a patent adviser in Oslo Patentkontor AS which has given him a broad experience working for clients in all phases of the IP process.
