Anders is an IP specialist with extensive experience in civil litigation. He is a disputes and strategy lawyer who manages and enforces large trademark and design portfolios on behalf of multinational companies.
Anders is particularly interested in the broader aspects of intellectual property, including IP strategy, due diligence processes, contracts, trade secrets, ownership of data and the interplay between intellectual property and environment, social and governance factors. He is especially mindful of the commercial reality that his clients must navigate in, with his focus therefore firmly set on giving his clients clear-cut and commercially minded advice.
In the past few years, he has been involved in two leading trademark cases before the Norwegian Supreme Court – one of them a trademark infringement case on behalf of Apple Inc. In addition, he is involved in an ongoing large cross-border patent litigation matter on behalf of a Norwegian client.
Anders is frequently retained by branding agencies to help map out and mitigate risk before launching new brands in the market. His broad experience also includes sitting on the board of directors at the largest Red Cross branch in Norway.
Anders, who enjoys speaking about intellectual property in different forums, is also listed as a Rising Star by IP Stars.
