Stanko has worked as a patent attorney for 9 years, with a technical background in marine engineering . With a degree in marine engineering from NTNU, Stanko has been fortunate, living in Norway to practice his craft extensively in a well developed marked. He has represented domestic as well as multinational companies in managing their patent portfolio world wide.

Stankos primary practice areas are patent mining and drafting, providing advice on patentability and best practice for obtaining patent protection, handling domestic and foreign patents and PCT applications, prosecution and appeal, 3rd party observations and oppositions, responding to office actions, patent invalidation and infringement litigations, FTO, due diligence and providing patent validity analysis and other IP matter-related consultation.
