Profile


Frøydis is an associate attorney and IP adviser. She completed her Norwegian Master of Laws at the University of Oslo and has also completed an LLM at the University of Richmond, specialising in intellectual property law. The studies has given her good knowledge about intellectual property rights, also in an international perspective.

Frøydis previously worked in Helse Bergen. There she provided legal advice on matters related to intellectual property rights, privacy/data protection, and contract law, amongst other legal fields, in the health thrust’s department for research and development. Frøydis has experience drafting and negotiating various types of contracts, including R&D agreements, license agreements and assignments.

Frøydis is used to cooperating in teams with people with different professional backgrounds. In her spare time, she is studying informatics, and she has previously participated in software development projects and projects related to artificial intelligence in decision support systems. She hopes her interdisciplinary experience can give her an even better understanding of many of our clients’ businesses.

For Frøydis, it is important to ensure that the client’s interests are well looked after throughout the prosecution and enforcement process. Frøydis assists clients in industries such as pharma, biotech, IT and communications.

Frøydis has worked at Onsagers since March 2023.
