Anette Robsahm Røhmen is a European Patent Attorney. She works with identifying patentable inventions, drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Norway and the European Patent Office (EPO), as well as giving IP strategic advice and assisting in establishing IP strategies. Anette has wide industry experience, including fishing & aquaculture, mechanical engineering, renewable energy, furniture manufacture and design, technical measurement, and sports equipment.

Anette’s work includes business-specific consulting, drawing up patent applications, consulting with regard to application examination in all countries, evaluations of technological fields and handling of oppositions, infringement and invalidity evaluations, as well as performing freedom to operate analysis, and assisting in legal disputes.

Key Experience

Anette is a physicist, which means she quickly understands a variety of complex, technical fields in a broad range of industry segments. In legal disputes related to patents, she has assisted lawyers, prepared infringement and validity assessments, and appeared in court as an expert witness. Her experience as a project engineer in a large engineering company gives her valuable insight and an excellent platform for understanding business and providing relevant business-specific IP advice.
